Update for 12/1-12/2

With the heavy rains yesterday, we had to take break from excavation, but thanks to the wonderful world of modular building, work continued at a steady clip in the factory. Electrical panels were installed and wired in some of the homes, more plumbing connections were done and the Dow SIS exterior sheating was applied. This is a 3-in-1 product is a combination vapor barrier, structural exterior sheating and rigid foam insulation. The top and bottom 2′ of each box will not receive any SIS panels until the home is set so that we can ensure that the perimeter bands are completely covered with the panel. Speaking of insulation, every single inch of the hot-water lines is being insulated. It may seem like a small thing, but it is this kind of attention to detail that sets our homes apart from everything else in the neighborhood and will help keep the utility bills so low.
